You will experience the luxury yachting life aboard thanks to her solid and leading edge design. Luna is a fully equipped Wauquiez Pilot Saloon 47. The experienced skipper will take you on an unforgettable adventure.
Daytrip
Experience a full day or half day sailing along the wonderful North Sea coast with the skipper from Scheveningen Yacht Marina. You may take the wheel or trim the sails. Enjoy the beautiful views of the famous Dutch sand dune landscape at Kijkduin, the famous Scheveningen seafront or Katwijk lighthouse. You may even spot dolphins or seals. Upon return we can enjoy a delicious 3-course dinner at the renowned restaurant Catch by Simonis.
Multiday trip
Imagine a multiday sailing trip whilst you live, eat and sleep on board under the guidance of the experienced skipper. Exploring the beautiful and famous Zeeland lakes in the South-West or an adventurous sailing trip to Texel island in the North. Or a cultural citytrip to Amsterdam or Rotterdam. Even the Belgian coast for a culinary experience is a possibility. Tell us about your dream sailing trip and together we will make a plan!
Corporate meetings or private dining
Are you looking for a unique or discrete location for a corporate meeting or private dining. Welcome to Sailing Yacht Luna! On board we can facilitate meetings up to 6 persons. Coffee, tea, water and cold drinks are included. On top of that we can arrange for snacks or a delicious lunch or dinner, provided by restaurant Catch by Simonis, served on board!
Experience Scheveningen and the North Sea
Lunch on board
Being out on the water a whole day makes hungry and requires a good lunch. Restaurant Catch by Simonis will prepare a delicious and luxury lunch for everyone on board. Of course we can take care of your dietary requirements. Coffee, tea, water and cold drinks will be available throughout the day.
Maximum 6 or 4 guests
For a day trip you can charter Sailing Yacht Luna for a maximum of 6 guests. During a multiday sailing trip we take a maximum of 4 guests. This way we can best ensure to provide you the time, space and service you deserve during your skippered yacht charter trip.
Skipper's Dinner
After an adventurous sailing day at sea we can enjoy a delicious 3-course Skipper’s Dinner at the famous restaurant Catch by Simonis opposite Sailing Yacht Luna’s berth at the harbour quay. Wine is included and may very well slightly affect the sailing conversations of the day….
Take the wheel
Feel the power of the wind pushing the bow through the water, hear the wind in the rig. You may or may not have sailing experience yet, on board Sailing Yacht Luna you can take the wheel and steer the yacht under the guidance of skipper Maarten.
Unwind
Sailing Yacht Luna is about unwinding. Sit back with a drink and admire the beautiful Dutch coast. Spot seals or dolphins in the North Sea, read a book or finally catch up with some long time conversations.

At sea
For a day trip we sail out to sea after the safety briefing. Once at sea we will trim the sails and enjoy the sailing trip. Imagine the sound of the water, the power of the wind, the weather, other ships. Together we will make an unforgettable experience.
Sailing Yacht Luna
Sailing Yacht Luna is a Wauquiez Pilot Saloon 47. The luxury yacht is known for her solid construction and makes passage safe, fast and comfortable. Luna has a comprehensive wardrobe of sails and she has proven to be able to make long overseas sailing trips. The yacht has extensive safety and communication equipment on board and many facilities to make your stay on board as comfortable as we can. Sailing Luna is one of the most fully equipped sailing yachts in her class. All maintenance is done by professionals, so Luna is always ready for her next adventure!
On deck
Whilst underway at sea, berthed in harbor, or anchored: the spacious cockpit will comfortably seat 6 people. Here you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch, dinner or simply have a sip of your favourite drink or chill out under the protection of the bimini.
Go sunbathing on the foredeck, drink a cocktail or dream away with that book that has been waiting for months to be read by you…
Interior
The big comfortable saloon is a great place to relax, dine, read or to enjoy listening music from the high-end Naim Audio system. Thanks to the use of natural materials like teak and because of the light from the big windows you will soon feel very much at home here.
The cabins have comfortable beds, each with a duvet filled with goose down the ensure good nights of sleep. The yacht has 2 bathrooms, both with separate shower cabins.
Technology, safety and communication
To provide you the safest and most comfortable stay on board Sailing Yacht Luna has been comprehensively equipped with modern safety, navigation and technical installations. For the safety standards on board we use the World Sailing Offshore Special Regulations as a guideline.
